As a new or experienced teacher in an Advanced Placement (AP*) classroom, you have made a special commitment to helping your students discover academic excellence. The 2008 AP* Summer Institute for Teaching Professionals provides you with an outstanding week of challenging and worthwhile training to help you meet the special instructional needs of your students, in both course content and pedagogical knowledge. You can expect to interact with veteran AP* teachers, trained and endorsed by The College Board*, and experience an enriching forum for sharing ideas and strategies with other AP* teachers in your field.
Cal State San Marcos will host all of the Summer AP* Institute workshops. This state-of-the-art university is located in the foothills of northern San Diego County just a short distance from some of Southern California's best beaches.
